For the past 20 years, Mr. Chanin has specialized in insurance coverage litigation on behalf of both insurers and insureds in state and federal courts. He has handled numerous declaratory judgment actions and appeals involving a wide variety of insurance issues and policies, including general liability, premises liability, umbrella/excess, errors & omissions, directors & officers and first-party coverages. Mr. Chanin has written many insurance coverage opinion letters on behalf of insurer clients and advised them in an effort to avoid litigation or resolve it in the most cost-effective manner possible. Prior to joining Farber Brocks & Zane, Mr. Chanin was a partner at a firm in Manhattan specializing in insurance matters.

Mr. Chanin received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School-Newark. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
