Audra S. Zane

Ms. Zane concentrates her practice on insurance coverage related matters, and represents her insurance company clients in the State and Federal Courts through all phases of litigation. Ms. Zane also defends insurers against claims of Bad Faith and extra-contractual liability, and has acted as supervisory counsel to carriers in cases of catastrophic loss. Ms. Zane is counsel of record on numerous reported appellate level decisions, is a frequent lecturer, and publishes articles on insurance coverage issues that impact upon claims handling and other risk management concerns. Ms. Zane has also practiced extensively in the areas of general and professional liability defense, including the defense of insurance agents and brokers. She received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, and is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and Florida as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
